Casablanca INT telecommunications company has been providing its services on the Czech market since 1996.

Casablanca INT is a leading Czech provider of Internet, data and voice services. For some time it has been among the top 5 suppliers on the telecommunications market. According to quality and the range and support of its services it is the absolute top in its branch and is one of the most experienced and stable companies – providing services since 1996.
Casablanca INT is a purely Czech company established and still supported by Czech capital only. Therefore it perfectly understands the needs of its clients especially because of its long-term knowledge of the Czech environment. When designing solutions it places the greatest emphasis on the quality of services, competitive prices and an individual approach to each customer.
Casablanca INT has gradually built a complete portfolio of its own telecommunications services and its range of comprehensive solutions will satisfy even the most demanding clients. Its services portfolio contains a wide range of services of undisputed quality: from connection to the Internet and housing services in its own advanced DataCentre through IP telephony voice solutions, new server solutions, network administration outsourcing, incl. consulting services, structured cabling and security systems to comprehensive telecommunications solutions for companies of all types and sizes.
Currently, Casablanca INT has more than 80 permanent employees.

IP connectivity and technologies

Casablanca INT and its services use the most up-to-date technologies (Juniper networks, Hewlett-Packard/3Com/H3C, Cisco Systems). The main connectivity to the Internet network is 20 Gb/s within the NIX.CZ node and 10+5 Gb/s for foreign operation. Casablanca as a LIR (Local Internet Register) has its own IPv4 as well as IPv6
address space. The company has concluded peering contracts with members of NIX.CZ and other important IT companies on the market, which gives its customers easier access to other networks.
For 11 years, Casablanca INT has been a valid and active member of the NIC.CZ association, an independent and neutral association of internet service providers interconnecting their networks. It participates in the future development and promotion of the IPv6 protocol among other things. 
As one of the first Internet service providers in the Czech Republic the company started to support the higher security of domain services with DNSSEC (Domain Name System Security Extensions) security technology. DNSSEC givers its users the certainty that the information obtained from DNS was provided by the correct source, is complete and its integrity was not disturbed during transmission.

Investment

In 2007 the company invested more than 30 million CZK in increasing its ServerHousing service capacities and introducing voice services on the NGN (next generation networks) basis to complete its portfolio of comprehensive telecommunications services.
During the last two years Casablanca INT has also acquired some companies - one of the most important was the purchase of Netway.CZ, s.r.o. in the autumn of 2009, which helped to increase the portfolio of services and the number of customers of the company.
Other investments (annually over 20 mil. CZK) were mainly for extending the Casablanca DataCentre, a new voice services platform, extending the company’s own data infrastructure and developing software solutions outsourcing such as managed and dedicated servers. The company also invests considerable amounts in developing customer care, the technical support of customers through monitoring and supporting our services.
In the summer and autumn of 2010 another new part of the DataCentre was built, which is now one of the largest commercial premises for servers in the Czech Republic. The new data room (with the sequential number HC8), which was opened in October 2010, has extended the data room area by another 200 m2, providing positions for 114 new customer and bringing several unique features to the Czech market. Our 1/4 racks at affordable prices, a unique cooling system using physically closed cold aisles and the Fogtec hi-pressurized mists system using high-pressure fog are certainly worth mentioning.
The overall area of Casablanca INT’s DataCentre for the ServerHousing service and new software solutions is now more than 1600 m². More information about the DataCentre.

1997 – development of “Virtual Market”
1998 – providing Linux RedHat OS servers and own routers
1999 – introduction of the eDuc service
2000 – introduction of the Adminet and ServerHousing products; official admission of Casablanca INT to the NIX.CZ association
2001 – metropolitan and data circuits; Slovak branch established
2002 – portfolio extended: VoIP service for existing customers, IP VPN service for more demanding clients; start of the Wi-Fi service
2003 – introduction of the LAN Administration service for permanent customers; name change of the fixed connection to BaseConnect
2004 – innovation of the year: the FastConnect service 
2005 – Wi-Fi network development project for Prague 5; introduction of the Data Backup service
2006 – 10^th anniversary of Casablanca INT; Internet telephony support (development within the VoIP product)
2007 – corporate identity change; introduction and support of new voice products; extending and opening of a new housing centre
2008 – obtaining the ISO 9001:2000 certificate; opening another data centre – extending premises by 200 m2
2009 – acquisition of Netway.cz Company
