New Data Room
We are continuously extending our premises. We have opened another new data room.
In the summer of 2010 we started to construct another eight server room. We are continuing our tradition of autumn investment and for the fourth time in a row we are giving our customers an early Christmas present. A brand new data room expands the total area of our DataCentre by another 200 m². The investment of more than 20 mil. CZK has allowed us to introduce several new features on the Czech data centre market thanks to which this room has become really unique compared to existing centres. One of the new features that is certain to interest many customers is 1/4 racks for placing several servers in a secured flexible space at an affordable price.
The new data room has:
- 114 customer positions with the maximum achievable integration rate
- out of which 40 full racks, 24 ½ racks and 48 ¼ racks
- Continuous environment monitoring (temperature, humidity, water)
- Physical security (Axis camera system, Mul-T-Lock key system)
- Cooling systems: closed cold aisles, temperature gradient 20 – 35°C, continuous 20% plus unit fan control
- Power supply systems: modular UPS, two independent branches A + B, high-efficiency UPS (96.5%), total power input 250 kW
- Electronic fire alarm system: VESDA system, optical - smoke sensors in the floor
- Hi-pressurized mist system: Fogtec system, i.e. high-pressure fog, demineralised, non-conductive
